Prices range from COP 40,000–80,000 per night for dorms to COP 120,000–250,000 for private rooms. The trade-off: no lake views or pools, but maximum convenience and nightlife access.

Traditional Colombian farmhouses along the reservoir, many with private pools, gardens, hammocks, and direct water access. This is the quintessential Guatapé experience — waking up to lake views, swimming before breakfast, and watching the sunset from your own dock. Prices range from COP 300,000 per night for simple fincas to COP 1,000,000+ for luxury estates that sleep 10–20 people. Best booked in advance, especially for weekends and holidays.

Near La Piedra — Early Climbers
Cerca de la Piedra — Madrugadores
A few hotels and hostels sit near the base of La Piedra, about 15 minutes from town. The advantage: you can be first in line when it opens at 8am. The downside: less convenient for restaurants and nightlife. Good for a quick overnight if climbing early is your priority.
